Zwick recently sold one of its RKP 450 Joule pendulum impact testers to the Institute of Materials Science, Center of Material Failure Analysis (COMFA) in Hanoi, Vietnam. COMFA carries out contract materials testing and materials failure analysis for local and national industries and required a new, high quality and robust impact testing machine capable of handling a high throughput of specimens and which could help them to expand their testing capabilities.
Zwick was chosen to supply the machine, as they were a well known and trusted brand name with a reputation for high reliability and accuracy, and was one of the few companies able to meet the laboratory’s requirements. Another important consideration was after-sales support. Zwick’s newly opened office in Ho Chi Minh City, together with Zwick’s regional headquarters in Singapore, is able to support the growing demands for materials testing in Vietnam and the Asia-Pacific region.
The Laboratory Manager, Mr Hoang the Dung, says “We will be more efficient and the prestige of COMFA with be enhanced with our partners and customers because this is the most modern high technology machine in the Hanoi area for this test purpose to date.
