Precise Hardness Testing with Zwick |
| The cardan shafts and cardan shaft assemblies with high-quality standards produced in Stadtilm in the German Thuringia enjoy an excellent reputation in the international market.
We support the high demands of this market with a made-to-order Zwick/ZHV10 low-load Vickers hardness tester with integrated innovative testXpert® test software.
The 200 mm x 200 mm precision compound table is equipped with particularly accurate digital micrometers from Mitutoyo and allows a traverse path of 50 mm in the x and y directions. The compound table coordinates are displayed online in the testXpert® video image and thus allow highly precise hardness profile testing of the cardan shafts or precision turned parts.
The ball joint mount for the specimen grip is particularly innovative. It is equipped with a quick-change feature and makes it possible to install and test the specimen even when tilted.
The Zwick/ZHV10 hardness tester is applicable to all hardness tests that rely on the optical measurement of the test indentation. These include the standardized Vickers, Knoop, Brinell, and Ritz tests as well as case hardening, hardening, and nitride hardening depths.
The standard load range for the low-load hardness tester is HV0.2 to HV10. In additional expansion stages, the ZHV10 is available for measurements to HV0.1 or up to HV30. It can be provided as a manual, analog version (optical measurement using a microscope) or as a digital PC version (optical measurement using an image processing system with testXpert®). Extensive testing software as well as accessories including clamping fixtures, indentors, compound table variations, and lenses round out the product portfolio. |
