Customer Support

Our Customer Support Department has the ability to provide support at all levels including equipment installation, calibration of all types of testing equipment and structured operator training programmes.

If you have a problem with your product, our hotline staff can help you. In many cases, expenses for an engineer on-site can be avoided or cut by utilising this service. For any other questions regarding the usage of our products or about applications, we offer a support line for assistance over the phone.

High-quality standards and German engineering ensure a minimum of breakdown and wear on Zwick products. Still, if a breakdown occurs, ZwickService will get help to you right away. Spare parts are supplied on site within a very short time and our growing team of engineers will provide support in installation work.

Contrary to popular belief UKAS Accreditation does not guarantee a Quality calibration; it provides a framework for technical management of the Calibration Laboratory.

Zwick Testing Machines Ltd is accredited to BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 by UKAS for the calibration of test equipment in force, extension and deflection.

As an accredited calibration laboratory we must:-

  • Have a defined management structure with technical management of calibration such that staff are not subjected to any influence affecting their technical judgment.
  • Have written procedures and work sheets for each International, National or Company Standard.
  • Have permanently employed operators trained and approved by UKAS for each individual procedure.
  • Carry out regular audits of operators, the management system and be subjected to annual audit by UKAS.
  • Maintain documented control over the calibration equipment, which must be traceable to the National Standard through a UKAS accredited laboratory.
  • Review the results of each calibration before the issue of a certificate in a format approved by UKAS.
  • Retain the record of the calibration for a minimum period of 6 years.

Accessories

Zwick products are modular in design. Any of our machines can be equipped with additional accessories as desired. Most of our products can even be adapted to other manufacturers' machines without requiring a controller exchange. All accessories can be adapted to a modernized machine. Hundreds of specimen grips and jaw faces are available. We also supply tools, state-of-the-art extensometers, and load cells. Adapters for machines from other manufacturers can be provided on request.

Spare Parts

Our spare parts preserve your machine's value and are available at short notice. Most of our spare parts can be shipped immediately to locations around the world. Availability of almost all our spare parts is guaranteed for 10 years after delivery of your machine. In fact, many machines dating from the 60s and 70s are still supported by Zwick spare parts.
