For standard corrugated board, three test methods are used to predict the box strength. The aim for M-Real was to create only a single test that would enable the box strength to be predicted directly. |

The Y-Peel Test: A Success for Buyer and Supplier |

Packages from carton blanks are finished by adhesively joining two board sides. Before packages can leave the manufacturer, the joints are tested through peel tests. As manual peeling does not provide measurable information, several methods have been developed: for example, the T-peel test or the angle-peel test. |
