New innovative testing machine operating system from Zwick Roell

Once again, Zwick is setting the standard in monotonic materials testing equipment. The new generation of Allround-Line testing systems incorporates an innovative operating concept to guarantee the optimum solution for demanding testing applications in quality control and research environments.

If appropriate, the entire test procedure can be performed via the hand-held remote control, independently of the PC. Alternatively, it is also possible to control the test machine directly through the electronics or via Zwick testXpert ll software. The core of the Zwick Allround-Line is the new testControl II control electronics, a new benchmark in digital measurement and test machine control.

As standard, 8 conditioning card slots enable additional sensors and measuring instruments to be connected to the testControl II unit as and when required. The system’s modular design facilitates user-oriented adaptation to testing requirements via plug-in modules such as the digital measured-value logging card and the standard 2,000 Hz online measured-value transfer.

The new machine range offers force capacities from 5 kN to 250 kN and load frames are available incorporating torsion testing facilities to accommodate multi-mode testing applications. The entire machine range provides the ultimate in operator safety via the provision of ‘test environment’ set-up for each specific test routine, to ensure fast and safe tooling and test routine changes.

Zwick offers the widest range of contacting and non-contacting extensometry, any of which can be used in conjunction with the Allround-Line testing frames.
