Zwick Roell UK & Ireland - About Us Zwick/Roell UK and Ireland is a division of the Zwick/Roell GmbH Group, a world class supplier of material testing solutions designed to determine the mechanical behaviour of a wide range of materials, components and structures. The extensive portfolio of products and services includes test equipment for evaluating hardness, impact resistance, torsion, tensile and compressive strength, durability and fatigue characteristics, of both metallic and non-metallic materials. Zwick/Roell aim is to help customers to bring products to the market in the shortest time and to assist in maintaining the on-going, highest quality standards for products being produced. The group employs approximately 700 staff in its global operations, of which about 500 are based at the main manufacturing plant in Ulm, Germany. The recently expanded UK & Ireland Sales and Service support operation, based in Herefordshire, employs 35 people. 70% of staff are highly trained engineers who, with the assistance of the support staff, are dedicated to providing high quality equipment support, UKAS calibration, operator training, equipment movement and installations, plus machine overhauls and modernisations. The Zwick/Roell quality objective is to supply high quality products, services, calibration and support that fully satisfies our customers requirements with regard to performance, reliability, zero defect, timeliness, safety and suitability for purpose.
